WHAT'S NEW AT PTSR?

BALANCE:

Balance is something that we often take for granted.  If you have ever had a fall, you know that it can happen without warning and sometimes has serious concequences.  Balance often declines with age.  As we become more sedentary, we no longer challenge our bodies with physical activities.  The good news is that balance can be regained and if you follow a few simple tips, you can reduce your chance or the chance of  loved one falling.  Some basic tips to decrease your risk of falls include:  getting rid of loose rugs, identifying slippery conditions/uneven surfaces and eliminating them, getting rid of any unsecured cords and making sure that lighting and good furniture is properly placed.  If you have any further questions about balance, give us a call at (402) 462-8824.

TOTAL MOTION RELEASE TRAINING:

We are proud to announce that Chad Kudlacek, OTR/L, CHT, Bryan Douglas, PTA and Lisa Butler, PTA have been trained in Total Motion Release (TMR) therapy.  Total Motion Release is being used for pain relief, restriciton of motion, motor deficits, balance disorders and performance enhancement.  Total Motion Release is changing the healthcare profession by re-balancing the body faster and longer with lasting results.  More importantly, the entire Total Motion Release process has been designed as a step-by-step program the patient can do at home and achieve excellent results.

For more information on Total Motion Release (TMR) check out their website on our "links" page or give us a call at (402) 462-8824!
